Meet Rasadhi Attale

Rasadhi Attale is a Senior Engineer at UltraSoc, a pioneering company that delivers monitoring and self-analytics technology for use in the silicon chips (SoCs) that power today’s consumer electronic, computing and communications products. Rasadhi studied for a MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Bristol.

1. Who inspired you get into Electronics? Was it a teacher, someone on TV or even a parent or relation?

My mum; she is a Science and Maths teacher, and her interest in science inspired me.

2. How would you explain to young people what Electronics is and its importance?

Electronics is like the heart in a body; without the heart other organs fail to survive. Electronics is like that, for every application and use we have in the modern world and in the foreseeable future electronics is vital.

3. What is the best thing about your job?

The world of Electronics is always changing, and there is always something new and shiny to explore.

4. What is exciting about Electronics at the moment?

A lot of things actually; autonomous vehicles, the advancements in robotics and what do we do after Moore’s law, to name a few.

5. Looking into your crystal ball, what is the next big trend for technology?

Machine learning (ML) and AI. Currently there is a huge interest in ML and it’s capabilities, and it’s only just started.
